Patriotic Front Media Committee Member Benjamin Siwila has charged that opposition political parties have become irrelevant because their sole responsibility is attacking President Edgar Lungu instead of providing solutions.
Mr. Siwila says it is sad that opposition leaders are always attacking the President instead of providing checks and balances to Government’s policies.
He has observed that the PF and President Lungu is winning next year’s general elections based on the various developmental projects government is currently implementing which the electorates are happy with.
Mr. Siwila said this in an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka .
He says the PF’s recent victories in Parliamentary by-elections is a reflection of how popular the party has become.
