Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon. Amb. Joe Malanji has announced the recall of Cosmas Chileshe, a diplomat serving at the Zambian Mission in Washington.
Chileshe divorced his wife Claudia and chased her and their four children from Washington.
Cosmas Chileshe was serving as First Secretary-Press and Public Relations, Embassy of the Republic of Zambia has been recalled for conduct unbecoming of a Diplomat.
Hon. Amb Malanji said his ministry expected diplomats to conduct themselves in a manner that has high integrity and not to abandon their families.
He said the case of Cosmas Chileshe will serve as a lesson to others.
The recall is with immediate effect.
