Police raid UPND command centre

POLICE in Lusaka yesterday raided a place suspected to be a United Party for National Development (UPND) command centre in Thornpark after receiving information that alleged criminal activities were taking place at the premises.
And UPND cadres on Thursday beat up some residents of Bauleni township while their leaders addressed a seemingly peaceful crowd.
Police deputy spokesperson Rae Hamoonga confirmed the development, saying police are still investigating the matter.
“We received information that there are criminal activities taking place at a house in Thorn Park. Police moved in to conduct a search,” Mr Hamoonga said.READ MORE
