MMD President Nevers Mumba says the only way to deal with the economic challenges facing the country is to have people who can run the economic affairs of the country effectively.
Dr. Mumba told QFM radio in an interview that there is no doubt the ruling PF has lamentably failed to manage the country’s economic affairs.
He said the levels the Kwacha has reached against the major currencies are worrying, warning that Zambia is headed for economic turmoil.
Dr Mumba said the economic policies of the ruling party remain a mystery and that no one knows where they are taking the country.
He said the ruling party should stop playing economic games because the people are tired of such games.
The MMD President said his concern was not that the PF Government does not want to manage the economy, but that they have no capacity to manage the economy.
