Mufulira road accident claims 7

Seven people, five of them from the same family have died in accident after their vehicle in collided with an on- coming Toyota Hiace minibus.

The accident happened on Tuesday on the Sabina-Mufulira road near Kafironda explosive turn off.

Both Malcolm Moffat hospital superintendent Gilbert Mukuka and police sources have confirmed the accident to ZNBC news in Mufulira.

Dr Mukuka says that the hospital received a distress call about the accident which happened at about 10:00 hours.

He says the hospital later received ten accident victims and that two of the children died at the hospital.

Police are yet to identify the dead.

I passed there on Monday with my family early morning surprisingly we meat strange vehicles Toyota excutive prados about six of them packed by the side of the road I told people in my car that this is very strange yesterday I was phoned that the accident has happened at the same spot Mufulira very wired sometimes.
