KAMBWILI CONFRONTS MWAMBA
Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili has confronted Emmanuel Mwamba this morning.
On his way to a scheduled Cabinet Meeting at State House, Kambwili spotted Mwamba in the Car Park and stopped his driver.
“Ba Mwamba you are a friend of government, you are a member of this party. Ok even if I stormed ZNBC why should you write that? How does that help us?”
He warned that what Mwamba was writing on his page was “nonsense” and “lies”.
“Ba Mwamba you are a personal friend. We have worked together so why are you doing this?”
Kambwili also stated that ZNBC and Maduma have been directed to refute the story;
“So mwalachita shani? Because Maduma has been told to deny your story. Don’t write lies”
But Mwamba asked Kambwili to conduct himself as a leader he is expected to be.
“Ba Chishimba why harass those reporters? Why storm ZNBC? Why didn’t you complain to your fellow Minister or the Permanent Secretary of Information and Broadcasting or better still speak to the Board Chair of ZNBC”
He said he felt duty bound as professional journalist to condemn and expose the abuse.
