ACTING President Guy Scott has held a press briefing at which he says the Patriotic Front will hold a national conference to select a Presidential candidate.
Earlier this morning the PF national chairperson Inonge Wina received a petition from 63 PF MPs and senior party members urging the adoption of PF secretary general Edgar Lungu as the party candidate for the upcoming Presidential elections.
Dr Scott says the actions by the central committee members goes against the PF constitution.
