RB puts on holds decision to contest 2015 by-election or not

Fourth Republican President Rupiah Banda says he will end the speculation on whether he intends to run for President again or not after the burial of President Michael Sata.

There has been growing speculation that the former President intends to run for President in the elections expected to be held in January 2015.

And Mr Banda says it is painful to see President Michael Sata lie in a casket helpless.

Mr. Banda has told Journalists in Lusaka today that each time he met with President Sata they would trouble each other as tribal cousins.

He adds that it is also painful that the country has in the last six years lost two sitting presidents.
Mr Banda has however encouraged Zambians to remain united and continue praying for the country.
