Open Society Foundation (OSF) Executive Director Sunday Chanda has with immediate effect resigned from the organization to join the ruling PF.
Announcing his departure from civil society in a statement to Radio Mano today, Mr Chanda claimed that he was compelled to join the ruling party following President Sata’s address during the official opening of parliament yesterday.
Mr Chanda charged that President Sata’s determination and resilience ‘converted’ him.
Sunday Chanda has been a staunch critique of the PF over the impasse between government and Bashi Lubemba.
