Opposition Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) president Edith Nawakwi has maintained that government has failed to improve the Zambia’s economy.
Ms. Nawakwi says the Patriotic Front has clearly demonstrated that it has no clear policy to drive the country’s economy to greater heights.
Ms. Nawakwi says it is every government’s responsibility to ensure that the country’s resources are safeguarded and ensure that the people benefit.
She explains that it is however disheartening to note that majority Zambians are still living in abject poverty and many of whom are failing to afford a descent meal for their families.
The FDD leader adds that it is therefore important for government to seriously pay attention to addressing the challenges being faced by Zambians if they are to win the confidence of the majority people.
