Patriotic Front Mandevu constituency Chairman Moses Makasa says they have started mobilizing structures ahead of next year’s tripartite election.
Mr. Makasa has told QFM News that it is a known fact that the ruling party survived last month’s by-election after winning with a small margin.
Mr. Makasa says it is for this reason that the party in the constituency will not waste any time in mobilizing for 2016 general elections.
He says the party is geared to perform better in next year’s general election in order to stay in power even beyond 2016.
And Mr. Makasa says the party is pleased with the stance taken b y President Edgar Lungu on political violence.
He states that the party will win people’s confidence with the position taken by the President on violence.
Mr Makasa says violence is the number one enemy of democracy.
