Political Activist Dante Saunders has proposed that the inauguration ceremony for the president elect should be done at least thirty days after he or she has been declared winner of the election.
Mr. Saunders says this may help dissatisfied candidates have enough time to raise pertinent issues with regards the outcome of the election before the president elect is sworn in.
And Mr. Saunders has doubted that the PF will give the people of Zambia a new constitution before 2016.
He says the PF lacks commitment to deliver a new constitution.
MR Saunders says it is the same government that promised the people of Zambia a new constitution within three months and is now promising to deliver it before next year’s general election.
And Mr. Saunders says opposition pressure has led to PF government recognizing Henry Kanyanta Sosala as Paramount Chief Chitimukulu of the Bemba speaking people.
