CHISHIMBA KAMBWILI CALLS SCOTT’S ELECTIONS A SHAM
Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili has called the so called General Conference being hosted by Acting President Dr. Guy Scott as a sham.
He has stated that the composition of the delegates does not meet the requirements of the Constitution.
He has also questioned yesterday General Conference that elected Defence and Justice Minister Edgar Lungu.
He has since withdrawn his candidature.
The Lusaka High Court has banned the holding of a fresh conference and issued an injunction to restrain former PF Acting Secretary General Bridget Attanga or her agents from conducting the Conference.
But Scott has proceeded in defiance of the court order.
Other candidates Given Lubinda, and Wilbur Simusaa have also withdrawn from the race whose proceedings have been stopped by a High Court Order.
