Former first lady Dr Maureen Mwanawasa has tasked HH to finish her husband, Levy Mwanawasa’s term. ‘Mwanawasa did not finish his second and asking you now, president Hakainde, finish Levy’s term’, said the enthusiastic former first lady.
Dr Mwanawasa went on to say she would not be seen in public fora but would go on the ground to campaign for HH. ‘I want to be one of the chief campaign managers for president HH’, she said.
The former first lady closed her address with the trade mark Mwanawasa campaign song ‘muye mu bebe, muye mu bebe, twali wina kale’!
