PRESIDENT Sata was yesterday in Ndola where he met provincial party officials in a closed- door meeting held at the Presidential Guest House in Northrise.
The President arrived in Ndola aboard a Zambia Air Force plane at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport at 10:55 hours and proceeded to the guest house where he held meetings with party officials for about four hours before he returned to Lusaka at 17: 40 hours.
He was accompanied by First Lady Christine Kaseba, Minister of Justice Edgar Lungu who is also PF secretary-general. Mr Lungu is also Minister of Defence.
He was seen off by Local Government Minister Emmanuel Chenda, Labour Minister Fackson Shamenda, deputy Minister of Chiefs and Traditional Affairs Susan Kawandami and provincial minister Mwenya Musenge.
According to the PF provincial chairperson Steady Mwale, the President called for unity.
