Some PF and MMD cadres and officials in Kasama defect to UPND in pictures

Over fifty cadres and officials from the ruling PF and opposition MMD in Kasama have defected from their respective parties to join UPND.

PF defectors accused the ruling party of failure to fulfill the campaign promises it made prior to the 2011 tripartite election.

They further accused the PF government of having no regards to traditional leaders.

And Speaking on behalf of the MMD defectors, former Kasama District party Chairperson Cosmas Chilongo noted that the continuance infighting has forced them to ditch the former ruling party.

Mr. Chilongo also accused PF of having no clear agenda to take the nation forward.

And receiving the defectors, UPND National Mobilization and Strategic Committee Member Mulenga Mwiche said PF has not regards to people in Northern province has seen by the failure by the republican president to visit the area since voted into power.
