Kabwe District Commissioner Patrick Chishala has disclosed that only 30 bodies out of the 47 from the Thursday’s fatal road traffic accident which occurred in Chibombo district have been identified.
Mr Chishala told ZANIS in Kabwe last night that relatives were making arrangements to pick their identified relatives from Kabwe General Hospital.
The District Commissioner stated that most of the dead bodies are mutilated making the identification process difficult.
He said government is mourning with the bereaved families hence the declaration of the three-days of national mourning which will start on Monday February 11.
He noted that the action taken by the Republican President over this matter demonstrates the Patriotic Front government’s commitment to serving the people.
