A joint team from the Anti-Corruption Commission – ACC- and the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC)has started investigations into the matter involving misappropriation of funds meant for the Social Cash Transfer Scheme.
ACC Public Relations Manager, Timothy Moono has confirmed the development to ZNBC news in Lusaka.
And DEC Acting Public Relations Officer, Kamufisa Manchishi says the Commission received the report of the misappropriation of funds and that investigations have been instituted in the matter as directed by President Edgar Lungu.
Mr. Kamufisa also says the investigating team will do its best to get to the bottom of the matter.
He says more information will be availed as soon as possible.
