Last week I was unceremoniously challenged to a beauty contest by the UPND veep, I felt as though that was some sort of mockery and a mere joke, I turned the challenge around and instead opted to have a live television or radio debate with GBM in order for the Zambian people to identify true leadership. I thought this would be a great opportunity for the two leading parties to have it out about national issues concerning our citizens.
I made myself available and set a date and time as requested by my colleague. However this afternoon I called him and asked him if he was ready … The response was hilarious, he denied the challenge and said he would rather have it on the Copperbelt because he had left Lusaka. He then laughed off the challenge and left it at that.
In light of this, GBM has failed to manage his end of the bargain, thus defaulting on our verbal agreement.
