Mbala man shot dead by criminals who attempted to steal his cattle

A 49-YEAR-OLD man of Mbala district has been shot dead by criminals who attempted to steal his cattle, Northern Province commissioner of police Bonny Kapeso has said.
Mr Kapeso said in an interview yesterday that Victor Sinkonde, 49, was allegedly shot dead on Tuesday when he confronted criminals who attempted to steal his cattle
“Police picked an empty cartridge of a shotgun at the scene. The incident occurred between 19:50 hours and 20:00 at Mr Sinkonde’s house,” Mr Kapeso said.
He said police are yet to make arrests in the murder. ZANIS
