A 10-MONTH-OLD baby of Chisamba has become a second victim of drowning in a bucket of water at home, two weeks after a two-year-old girl died in a similar manner in Ndola.
In an incident that happened in the Chisamba Small Holdings area, the toddler was found dead on Monday in its parents’ house, where it was playing before the dreadful discovery, Central Province police commissioner Lombe Kamukoshi has said.
“The baby drowned in the bucket which was inside the house while the mother was outside washing dishes,” Ms Kamukoshi said.
And only a fortnight ago, a two-year-old child drowned in a bucket of water in Ndola’s Kabushi township.
