OBSERVERS’ EXIT POLLS FOR ZAMBIA 2016 GENERAL ELECTION
“President Edgar Lungu likely to win by 57%”
President Edgar Lungu has been placed into a runaway lead by many exit polls and early results.
On Thursday 11th August 2016, the country went to elect it’s President, Members of Parliament, Mayors, Council Chairman and councillors.
This exit poll has been conducted by European Observers, using 1000 pollsters, a total of 100 surveyors were placed in each province.
The poll results have been tabulated into percentages.
A sample of 100 was used at all sample polling stations using random sampling method.
Below is a compilation of the exit poll compiled at 20:00hrs today.
