Congratulations your royal highness
We in the UPND are very happy today to experience the installation of his royal highness Henry Sosala as Mwine Lubemba Chitimukulu Kanyanta manga II. What a great day it is! We also congratulate the Bashi Lubemba (the Bemba loyal establishment) for their steadfastness in seeing to it that the Bemba crown goes to the rightful owner.
Our new Chitimukulu suffered untold torture at the hands of the PF government who refused to recognise him as Mwine Lubemba and instead called him an imposter. Then minister of home affairs Edgar Lungu sent not less than 500 policemen to the Chitimukulu place to prevent Henry Sosala from entering his rightful dwelling place. Consequently, the Chitimukulu designate went to live in a grass thatch, a place not befitting a paramount Chief.
We in the UPND stood with Henry Sosala and repeatedly demanded that he be recognised as the rightful Chitimukulu. At one point, the PF organised thugs to ambush and beat up our president Hakainde Hichilema and our chairperson Madam Mutale Nalumango and others after they paid a visit to the Chitimukulu designate.
Many other gallant men and women stood with Henry Sosala and Bashi Lubemba. One such gallant son of our soil is our vice president for administration Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM) who gave up his ministerial post as defence minister in protest against what was happening to Henry Sosala. Because of this, the PF expelled GBM from the party but this fought in the courts of law.
This installation of Henry Sosala as Mwine Lubemba Chitimukulu Kanyanta manga II is sign that right will always triumph over wrong and truth will always defeat falsehood.
