The Patriotic Front -PF has discontinued the matter where it sought to restrain Former Defence Minister Geofrey Mwamba from attending parliamentary sessions following his appointment as United Party for National Development-UPND Vice President for Administration.
This is according to the Notice of Discontinuance of An Action filed in the Lusaka High Court by FB Nanguzyambo Associate-a legal firm that was representing the PF in the matter.
The law firm has argued that continuing with the proceeding would be an academic exercise following the declaration of the Kasama Central Seat vacant by the Speaker of the National Assembly Dr Patrick Matibini.
