Patriotic Front Shibuyunji district Chairperson Joseph Kasonde says party members engaging in acts of violence are soiling the name of the party.
Mr Kasonde says there is need for members of the ruling party to remain peaceful and protect the party’s integrity.
He has called on party members in Shibuyuni to stay away from any form of violence.
Mr Kasonde says it is the responsibility of every party member to ensure political violence is not tolerated.
Mr. Kasonde states that the PF in Shibuyunji will always guard against violence regardless of the situation at hand.
He adds that the party’s district leadership will not hesitate to report perpetrators of violence to the Police.
