Police and Zambia Revenue Authority -ZRA- have impounded a South African registered truck and trailer carrying huge quantities of beer, suspected to have been smuggled into the country.The truck was intercepted in Mazabuka, Southern province, on its way to Lusaka, in a joint operation of clamping down on goods smuggling, by the ZRA and police.MEANWHILE, Lusaka’s COMESA Market Chairman DONALD KACHINGWE has condemned the respective inspection exercises by the ZRA and police.
