On behalf of the people and the Government of the Republic of Zambia and indeed on my own behalf, I would like to convey my heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the Muyamwa family on the death of Mr. Charles Muyamwa. I have known the late Charles since his early days as a broadcaster and singer. His genuine passion for broadcasting and the arts was very visible to everybody who interacted with him at various levels. Indeed, he was a great compatriot who will be missed by many both home and abroad. May the Almighty God grant the bereaved family fortitude and comfort during this painful period. MCS- 25/01/14
