—–Southern Province Minister, Daniel Munkombwe, has threatened to expel out of the province provincial heads of institutions still based in Livingstone who will fail to meet the set deadline of this week to relocate to Choma.
Mr Munkombwe says the culprits will be forced out of the province and handed over to line ministry headquarters in Lusaka.
He says enough time has been given to the departmental heads to shift to Choma but that some have shown reluctance because they are living in luxurious houses in the tourist capital.
The minister was speaking yesterday when Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) Commissioner, Alita Mbahwe, called on him in his office in Choma.
Mr Munkombwe said President Michael Sata has tasked him to ensure the relocation of the provincial administration which he pronounced last year is fully implemented.
He said he does not want to be part of those that have previously failed to follow the presidential directive.
Mr Munkombwe advised Ms Mbahwe to ensure that the DEC regional commander who is still based in Livingstone immediately moves to Choma to avoid running into trouble with his administration.
