——-The Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) of the Patriotic Front in North Western Province has indefinitely suspended ten senior party officials, including Kabompo District Commissioner, Dennis Kanyakula and a councillor from the party.
The ten officials have been suspected for allegedly wanting to lock the offices of the Provincial Minister and the Permanent Secretary without any authority from the party.
This is according to a letter signed and issued by the Provincial Executive Committee secretary, Fabian Chiposo, to ZANIS in Solwezi today.
Mr Chiposo said the party officials were also found and caught displaying seditious materials against the Permanent Secretary, Augustine Seyuba, the action he described as not only illegal but also tantamount to discrediting the appointing authority.
Others suspended together with Mr Kanyakula include Tunvwanganai ward councillor, Abraham Sichalwe, Solwezi District Chairman, Yobe Banda and District Secretary, Henry Lufungula.
The rest are District vice secretary women, Gwen Manda, Benson Ngambo, Zachariah Saipunga, Cynthia Mwakalombe, Charles Chipango and Edmond Chikamba.
And Mr Ngambo confirmed that he received the letters on behalf of others from Mr Chiposo this morning and will issue a comprehensive statement on the matter on Monday, next week.
On Wednesday some PF cadres matched to the provincial administration threatening to lock the office of the Mr Seyuba who they accused of failing the party in the province.
