Opposition Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ) president Frank Bwalya has extended his indefinite leave from priestly ministry.
Father Bwalya announced the development in a statement to Mano News saying he would only consider priesthood after 2016.
He stated that he would therefore continue his involvement in partisan politics including seeking public office.
Father Bwalya, who is an ordained Roman Catholic Priest, took leave of absence and later indefinite leave of absence from priestly ministry five years ago.
Before his leave, Father Bwalya served as parish priest at St. Peters Parish in Kitwe.
