Three people have died while one is admitted to Kasama General Hospital following an accident on the Kasama–Luwingu road.
Northern Province Divisional Criminal Investigations Officer Kenneth Nkhuwa confirmed the incident to Mano News saying one person died on the spot while two others died at the hospital.
Mr Nkhuwa said the accident happened on Friday the driver of the Toyota Noah registration number ACV 1147 lost control following a rear tyre burst.
Driver of the vehicle has been identified Shepherd Bwalya’s but his condition and whereabouts are unknown as he is said to have fled the accident scene.
