Democratic Governance and Human Rights Activist (DEGHA) has charged that the government is mocking the people of Zambia with regards the constitution.
DEGHA Executive Director Gerald Mutelo has told Qfm in an interview that the Technical Committee has also not been helpful to the people of Zambia.
Mr. Mutelo says it is sad that government has failed to fulfill the promise it made to the people of Zambia to deliver a people driven constitution and has decided to mock them instead.
He says the PF government will pay for the failure to fulfill the campaign promise to deliver a people driven constitution and for mocking Zambians.
Mr. Mutelo however, states that despite government’s inaction, the people of Zambia will not give up demanding for the enactment of a new constitution.
He has further encouraged Zambians not to be discouraged or relent in their demands for the new constitution.
