Govt releases funds for school rehabilitation in Chadiza district
Chadiza, 21 February 2014, ZANIS…..Government has released Three Hundred and Forty Thousand Kwacha (K340) for complete infrastructure rehabilitation of Chadiza Boarding Secondary School.
ZANIS reports from Chadiza District that the School Head Teacher, Rose Miyombo has confirmed the development in an interview, today.
Mrs. Miyombo said the school Infrastructure has been left unattended to for a long time a situation that has made the school to be in a dilapidated state.
She said the money was already in the district and that the school will work in collaboration with the department of buildings so that the building standards are not compromised.
She said the rehabilitation of the school will mean a lot to both the pupils and parents who have been complaining about the water, sewer and accommodation problems at the learning institution.
The Head Teacher said very soon a stake holders meeting will be called where the issue of the school rehabilitation will be discussed and how the community will be involved.
