Four political parties vie for Lumbo Ward in Western province

Four political parties filled in their nominations in Mongu district yesterday for the forthcoming Local government by-elections in Lumbo Ward to be held on 25^th of February 2014.

The Alliance for Democracy and Development (ADD) fielded in Lufwendo Lufwendo as their candidate, United Party for National Development (UPND) has fielded Muimui Kekelwa while Elias Nasilele stood on the Movement for Multi-party Democracy (MMD) ticket and Progress Njekwa for the Patriotic Front (PF) respectively.

And Returning Officer John Siang’andu declared all nominations valid in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Elections Regulations, 1992.
