His Excellency Mr Michael Chilufya Sata, President of the Republic of Zambia, is deeply saddened at the passing of Hon. Gabriel Namulambe’s daughter Rosemary and two grandchildren, Jane and Jennipher in a road traffic accident on Monday.
In his letter of condolences to Hon. Namulambe, who is also Foreign Affairs deputy minister, President Sata described the loss as disastrous.
“It is with a profound sense of shock and sadness that I have learned of the untimely demise of your daughter and two grandchildren. I am deeply sorry for this tragic loss and share your grief during this period of great difficult,” President Sata said.
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Zambia and indeed on my own behalf, I convey our deepest condolences to you and the entire Namulambe family.
“During this period of enormous pain, we show sympathy with you and join in prayerful reflection, and beseech the Almighty God to grant the bereaved family solace and strength to bear this great loss.”
