High Court Judge Edward Musona has authenticated the video that shows alleged scenes of violence in Munali constituency during the 2016 general elections .
This is in a matter where Munali Member of Parliament Professor Nkandu Luo has appealed against the High Court’s decision to nullify her seat on account of violence.
Whilst considering the appeal, the Constitutional court ordered the high court to view the video in question and ascertain its authenticity.
And when the matter came up, Judge Musona said he has decided to authenticate the video after watching it.
He said this is because it is the same video that he watched in October 2016 when he nullified the Munali parliamentary seat.
Judge Musona is now expected to report back to the constitutional court in April regarding his findings.
