Over 30 Kabwata residents in Lusaka are expected to appear in court, for failing to subscribe to waste management services.
Kabwata Ward 2 Councillor, Cassius Mbalazi says the erring residents have been taken to court by the Lusaka City council.
Mr. Mbalazi has since explained that he will not protect the residents, who do not want to contribute to the Keep Lusaka Clean campaign.
And Council Public Relations Manager, Habeenzu Mulunda has also confirmed that some Kabwata residents have appeared in court, at the civic centre for failing to pay for garbage collections.
