Political scientist Alex Ng’oma has praised Rainbow party president Wynter Kabimba for demonstrating intraparty democracy by convening a national congress for his party.
Dr. Ng’oma says the move by the Rainbow party to hold a general conference is a sign that Mr. Kabimba wants to uphold democratic tents in his party.
He has since urged other political parties to emulate the Rainbow party by holding their conventions and allow the people choose leaders of their choice.
And Dr. Ng’oma has cautioned political parties against underrate each other ahead of the 2016 general election.
He says the performance of each and every political party will be judged based on the outcome of the 2016 general election.
