The National Construction Council (NCC) Chief Executive Officer Charles Mushota has threatened to take legal action against contractors sub-contracting unregistered contractors with the council.
Engineer Mushota says the law provides that people should be fined for sub-contracting contractors especially foreign ones which are not registered by the NCC.
Engineer Mushota says the council has in the past fined people involving contractors not registered with the council in their works.
And Engineer Mushota says the council will endeavor to do training courses for stakeholders to help with issues in the construction sector.
