Edgar Lungu supporters could be found marching down Independence Avenue in Lusaka, en route to State House. The celebrations came just hours after the Electoral Commission of Zambia confirmed that the ruling party’s candidate had secured 48.3% of the vote, making him the 6th President of the Republic of Zambia.
