It was with a heavy heart that I learnt of the deliberate and random acts of violence targeting Patriotic Front delegates travelling from Kabwe to their various destinations. The same senseless and uncalled for violence was directed at the beneficiaries of the Matero Constituency Youth Empowerment Programme. There were injuries and damage to property recorded. These were senseless acts of violence targeted at innocent people, I would therefore like to condemn in the strongest possible terms, these acts of violence, and urge my supporters to desist from any retaliation. We must maintain peace and unity whatever the circumstances maybe.
