PRESIDENT Sata’s determination, zeal, and courage to achieve his ambitions are worth emulating by all youths, Youth Development Organisation (YDO) director Partner Siabutuba has said.
Mr Siabutuba challenged the youth to emulate President Sata’s determination to achieve his goals regardless of social status.
He said his organisation received the news of the President’s demise with great sorrow and regret.
“The news of the President’s death was shocking. this is a man who was committed to improving the welfare of the youth. He managed to popularise youth development because he was committed to empowering the youth as evidenced by the way he articulated his youth empowerment vision,” Mr Siabutuba said.
He said President Sata’s determination and courage to achieve his goals and ambitions should be emulated by all youths.
Mr Siabutuba said Mr Sata diligently served in various government portfolios before finally ascending to the presidency.
“His determination to achieve his goals, desire to selflessly serve the public is a good lesson we can learn from the late President,” he said.
