Investigations have been instituted in a case where a 35-year-old man identified as Given Chiponji, who is a third-year student at Copperbelt University had been apprehended in connection with examination malpractice after he was found writing on behalf of a first-year student identified as Sipalo Zita.
The examination took place on Thursday this week around 15:00 hours at Copperbelt University in Kitwe.
Mr Hamoonga said the suspect was in Police custody.
