H1N1 influenza in Serenje District under control
Serenje, March, 15, 2013, ZANIS — The H1N1 influenza which broke out in Serenje district last month has been contained.
Serenje District Medical officer Tizza Mufune and the District Commissioner Charles Mwelwa confirmed this to ZANIS today.
The District Commissioner said that the cases of H1N1 Influenza have been reduced than the recent discovered figures in all health centres in the district.
Mr Mwelwa has called on the people to report any case related to influenza because symptoms are almost like that of malaria.
The district commissioner expressed happiness because no life has been lost in the district in relation to the disease.
