Limata hails Siamunene ‘s bold step to work with govt.
Livingstone, February 28, 2013, ZANIS — Southern Province Minister Josephine Limata says she is happy that UPND Sinazongwe Member of Parliament Richwell Siamunene has taken a step to work with the ruling party PF to help address problems affecting the people of his constituency.
Mrs Limata says on her recent visit to Sinazongwe constituency with Mr Siamunene, she noticed that there challenges that need urgent attention.
She has urged Mr. Siamunene to work hand in hand with the Government and avoid listening to what others are saying.
ZANIS reports that the minister was speaking in Livingstone today when the two deputy ministers of commerce and trade and industry Richwell Siamunene and Richard Taima, respectively, visited her office.
And Mr Siamunene told Mrs Limata that he is grateful to President Micheal Sata for giving him an opportunity to work for the people of Zambia.
he says it is his duty to see to it that Zambians realize the potential.
And the other Deputy Minister Commerce, Trade and industry Richard Taima says he is disappointed that Tripartite committee of senior official from COMESA and SADC countries taking place in Livingstone has taken too long on modalities.
Mr. Taima added that the members were meeting for the fifty time and yet they have not set up a base of what is needed.
