Police in Lusaka have killed five criminals around Shantumbu area after an exchange of fire.
Lusaka Province Commissioner, Charity Katanga confirmed the killings to ZNBC News.
Ms. Katanga said two of the criminals have escaped in separate Toyota saloon cars.
She said the 7 criminals staged an aggravated robbery at a Chinese firm, Ice Flower Company situated along Shantumbu road.
Ms. Katanga said the criminals demanded money from the owner of the company, Li Wang Li who refused bow to their pressure.
Ms. Katanga said the Police have since recovered an unregistered Mercedes Benz and an AK 47 riffle which were used in the robbery.
