Hello friends
I realised some people were not sure about who authored my post yesterday. I admit am enjoying these articles by one Alexander Nkosi and here is another.
DEAR PRESIDENT HAKAINDE HICHILEMA..You have spent precious time here asking what is global about a large cabinet and trips. Well, we are not sure whether you would reduce the cabinet because this far you have two vice Presidents and so many other MMD MPs courting you.
I say that is politics. Next point, you talk of trips? Iam not sure how much money has been spent on trips since EL came into power but when you talk of cutting down you dont mean he has to stop travelling all together meaning he just has to reduce. If I may ask, would that reduction amount to savings which can improve the kwacha? Well again it’s politicking. Lastly, I hate hearing phrases like “creating a conducive environment for economic growth” as advice.
That shouldn’t come from an Economist. It is too packed and it all ends up sounding like a political statement. My advice is this…the situation is serious as you have noted. We work with hard figures as a country, may you tell us in hard and concise terms how that “creation of a conducive environment for economic growth” should be done working with the available funds and external factors at play. I expect this whole article to come from a journalist and not an Economist. Everything you have written here we have heard so many times. May you for once work like Peter Sinkamba who adds practical solutions with hard figures to his criticism. We as a country expect a lot from you. May God bless you, thank you.
Alexander Nkosi .
