Republican President Edgar Lungu has cautioned his newly appointed Special Assistant Legal Sukwana Lukangaba to be cautious with his social life and guard against temptations of being used to scandalize state house.

Speaking during the swearing in ceremony in Lusaka, Mr. Lungu notes that State House has had a history where Special Assistants to the President have become State House outside State House.

He has cautioned Mr. Lukangaba being a young man to cautious with his social life such as clubbing and avoid temptations of being interrogated on happenings at State House.

Mr. Lungu further advised Mr. Lukangaba to cut down on his friends as he has down because others might want to get information about state house from him through gossiping.

He says the job he has taken up is big and failing to perform would be letting down many young people whom he has faith in.

The President says State House has not had any in-house lawyer for some time now.

Mr. Lungu says Mr. Lukangaba should uphold professionalism and stick to his oath as a lawyer and that he says when being sworn in.

And Mr. Lukangaba says he will heed the President’s advice in carrying out his duties as the job before him is huge.

He says he will widely consult on various issues when carrying out his duties.

Mr. Lukangaba worked for the Ministry of Justice for 7 years before going into private practice.
