The United Party for National Development UPND has called for peaceful campaigns ahead of the Senga Hill, Masaiti and Chawama Parliamentary By-elections.
UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema says political parties should focus on issue based campaigns that are of importance to constituents and responds to the needs of the people
In a statement issued to ZNBC News, Mr. Hichilema says UPND is fully committed to participating in the by-elections.
He encouraged voters to turn out in numbers and exercise their democratic right to cast their vote ahead of the April 14th parliamentary by-election.
The three parliamentary by-elections are being contested by the Patriotic Front-PF, National Revolution Party, and UPND among other political parties.-ZNBC
