President Edgar Lungu is on Thursday expected in China for a state visit and a series of bilateral talks.
ZNBC’s Jeff Banda reports that President Lungu is expected to address the Boao Forum for Asia -BFA Annual Conference 2015, which will be attended by other Heads of State and Government.
According to a programme obtained from the Zambian embassy in China President Lungu will on Friday depart Shanghai for the seaside resort city of Sanya where he is expected to address the BFA annual conference which opens on Saturday.
BFA is the most prestigious forum for leaders in government, business and academia in Asia and other continents.
It is aimed at sharing ideas on the most pressing issues in the world.
President Lungu is later expected to hold bilateral talks with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.
The President Lungu’s programme continues on Sunday until Wednesday next week when he is expected to leave.
